Sli na mara was definitely not what I expected. The room lacked the comfort I needed, and don't get me started on the breakfast. it could’ve been a bit fancier. I also think a welcome gift would’ve been nice, but I suppose that’s too much to ask. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

I stayed for one night and found this place to be a perfect base for exploring the area. I felt welcomed from the beginning. I was impressed when the hostess arranged a special take-away breakfast for my early departure. The location made it easy to walk to local attractions. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which allowed me to relax after a day of sightseeing. I wish I had planned a longer stay.

Sli Na Mara was the perfect place for our stay! The hosts, Bridie and George, made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and absolutely spotless, with a TV that had Netflix. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, especially Bridie’s waffles! The location was ideal, just a short walk to central Galway and the waterfront.
Parking was a bit tight.

spacious room, clean bathrooms, quiet neighborhood
The bathroom amenities could definitely use a boost!!! I would have appreciated washcloths for a more complete experience!!! The heating system felt a bit overpowering at times. These small adjustments could make a noticeable difference!!!

The hosts were welcoming and attentive, offering great recommendations while making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a highlight, with freshly made options and even special takeaway service for our early flight. On the downside, the bathroom could use more amenities, and parking was a bit constrained. Overall, the comfortable room had everything we needed, and the location was conveniently close to local attractions.

It was just a fine choice for a hurried visit in Galway with good value considering the price it charged. The firm bed in my room was really cozy, helping me relax after a long day. Pack light if you can. there's a bit of a climb to the second floor.
